Nope. I just really like Superman.
And the colors used in my wallpaper are the ones from Kingdom Come. A very awesome story.
Pulled two chases last night. But not the one I want. Also got the Ravager Prime. And the Flash SR. And Harvest.
I just wanted Superboy Prime.
Also I think Im missing my card for Starfire.
Ah well.
If anyone wants to trade their Superboy Prime for some of this, and maybe some Batman Chases…. Let me know.

I on the other hand am super stoked. But then I am a Superman fanboy.
They arrived. This is what a Heroclix addiction looks like. I won’t say what I paid for these two, but know that only a geek and collector could appreciate and understand.
So if you go to a Toys R Us you can find what are known as “Tab App” Heroclix. They are meant to be played through an app on your ipad via small censors on the bottom of the dial. Sadly they also come with cartoony oversized versions of the characters. (See top pic.) Which is most unfortunate because some of the dials are amazing. The Superman one in particular
So I popped that bad boy off, cannibalized some other extra figs I have, through liberal use of glue, swearing, patience, and blood sacrifice, I put together the bottom figure.
And Im not kidding about Blood Sacrifice. Getting the smaller Superman off of his dial I was using an exacto blade, had too much force on the blade and went it went through the foot as I intended it went on into my finger. See the blue bandaid. It probably could have used a stitch. But I had some crazy glue on hand, and after all thats what crazy glue was designed for… That was yesterday. Today I put a band aid on it.
But its nice to have a custom fig. Mailbox wielding Superman.
Saw the ‘Kingdom Come’ tag and had to wiggle excitedly a bit. I LOVE the story in Kingdom Come. It’s just so intense and amazing!
Me too. Even if I never play the figure, though I will, I like having him because of what he represents.
Thats one reason I got into heroclix. My stories come to life. :-)
