My faith in humanity is restored.
EXCUSE ME? MY FAITH IN DRAGONKIND IS RESTORED.
Ahahahaha!
This is something you would see if D&D worlds had a press.

Dragons are so beautiful and amazing <3
Mm, yes. Black dragons, from Third edition Dungeons & Dragons. The second least intelligent variety of evil dragons, only a few points above the feral and bestial white dragons; the swamp-dwelling dragons also known as “skull dragons” for the deeply pitted skeletal appearance of their faces, with tiny eyes that seem to sink further into their sockets with age. The acid-vomiting dragons which stink of decay and prefer their food to be rotted or “pickled” by leaving it to soak in muck and stagnant water for weeks or months. The ill-tempered, craven, always Chaotic Evil dragons that scarcely cooperate with even others of their own breed, and only value humanoids for our ability to lead them to treasure before they slaughter and consume us after using ambush tactics to ensure that they do not risk a real battle. Such beautiful, inspiring examples of dragonkind.
did this seriously JUST HAPPEN
Actually, it happened three days ago.
This is why I would be doomed if I lived in the world of Dungeons and Dragons
Even if the dragon wanted to eat me, I wouldn’t be able to slay it…
You could always forge an alliance with the far more intelligent Red Dragons. Bigger, meaner, and nastier than the rest of the Chromatic dragons, Red Dragons are known to have human allies and/or worshipers. At least until the Dragon grows bored and eats them or slaughters them for amusement. However Red Dragons are also the greediest and most egotistical of the Dragons and as such often boast the largest and best Hoards of Treasure around. Think of Scrooge McDuck on crack when it comes to treasure.
