Little Buffy Things: Band Candy // Forever
After Joyce’s death and funeral, Giles is seen listening to Tales of Brave Ulysses, the same song he and Joyce were listening to when they were “teenagers” in Band Candy.
Nothing in this show makes me emotional, except for this moment in Forever 5.17. This is the true essence of grief and mourning.
This is one of the reasons I love Joss’ writing so much. The past is just as much part of the characters’ lives as it is for anyone in real life. Joss always reaches back to find that memory that would be brought up by events currently happening. Just like they are brought forth in our lives. We make connections and Joss writes that into his work. It’s what makes his characters real.
Just think of where this could have gone if Buffy hadn’t cockblocked. (Is there a girl version of that term?)

I kinda thought the comics were sooo cheesy.
The comic had potential and it did have some good issues, but overall I was disappointed. I was particularly disappointed with the last few books. The cover art was always awesome, though.
Daytime’s the worst. Cooped up for hours. Can’t hunt. But the Master said I could play. Isn’t that fun, Puppy? Aw… Puppy’s being all quiet.
Buffy vs River….my money is on the slayer.
