Saw Marian Call tonight! Shes going to be in Chicago this weekend and in other parts of the midwest in the near future.
Marian Call: Live at Whole Wheat Radio
Marian did a concert some time back that was broadcasted out over the internet and also kept online. Sadly, WWR is no longer. But I have saved the file and have placed it in my Drop Box. The file is a little large, 110MB, and is about 1.5 hours. The quality is great, aside from a few small skips in “Vera Flew the Coop.”
If you don’t know Marian Call, this is a great place to get introduced. She talks a bit between songs and her adorable personality shines through.
Had dinner with Marian Call today. Shes good people. Shes in town for CONVergence and then another show on Friday. Was good to see her again.

Being in the music business we’re always looking for that artist that will blow our minds and make our ears beg for more, Marian Call has just done that. Check out her song Nerd Anthem, it’s not just a great piece of music, it’s deserving of the title of Geek Girl’s Official Anthem.
While this isn’t an official music video, it’s wonderfully well done and highly appropriate for the music. After listening to this song, we very strongly recommend you check out Marian’s official website and pick up her latest album.
It’s not all geek/nerd music, it’s a wonderful variety that you’ll love, and you can listen to many of her songs on the site to try them out. Remember to support the artists, buy their albums, we’re picking up a copy and you should to!
