Greem Arrow never stands for Batman’s shit. Neither do the Green Lanterns for that matter…
Up to no good. ;) Photo by photosNXS.

Packing for GenCon. Is it possible to have too many pairs of Superman and Batman underwear?
Yeah, I don’t think so either.
There is so much yes in this picture.
Odds are the girl in question is a Booth Babe. Meaning she is paid to be there. Do they deserve hate? No. Its a job. They are getting paid to smile and be pretty. If people have a problem with this, then complain about the company who hires them. The fact is that companies would be better off if they did some research on Cosplayers and hired fans to stand around in costume and shill product. They could probably save money by paying the people in product. Or at least pay them some less than what modeling agencies charge. We all know there are some amazing and beautiful cosplayers.
As far as oversexualizing, I run a blog that sexualizes everything. Or at least things and people who want to be. If you decide to dress up as super sexy Joker (either gender) because you like it and have a body/look you are proud of want to show off, then good for you. If someone has a bug up their ass about a character being sacred, they have that right to feel that way. But they dont have the right to tell you that you are wrong and shouldnt do it.
People take some things waaaay too serious. Batman for instance. I could give you reasons on why Batman is unrealistic, or I could show you the PLETHORA of examples of Batman being silly or stupid. (Shark repellant, anyone?) Same goes for just about any franchise character. I love Superman. But I love seeing women in Superman underwear. Hell I own some. The second your character is on a pair of underwear, or pajamas, or a McDonalds cup, any integrity is lost.
"Dude, Batman r srs and dark and realstk!"
"Yup, these batman underroos my little nephew wears scream ‘take me serious as a literary character.’"
Im not saying there arent good, deep, Batman stories. Of course there are. But the second you try and defend the honor and integrity of someone who DRESSES LIKE AN INSANE CLOWN TO MURDER PEOPLE because you take him too serious, you instantly become someone the Joker would murder because you’ve missed his point entirely.
