Batman is the Boba Fett of comic books.
No.
If anything Boba Fett is the Batman of the Star Wars Universe. Batman has been around far longer, has appeared in more media, and there is simply far more to draw on in regards to his character and legacy.
That being said… Batman doesn’t kill. Fett is given specific instructions to NOT disintegrate Solo, which means Boba Fett perhaps has a soft spot for disintegration, or at the very least has done it enough that he has a reputation for it.
Boba Fett always works alone. He has no friends. No real allies. And certainly no sidekick. Batman’s best friend is a Kryptonian. He often works with the Justice League, and though he may not always trust them, he is glad they are there. At least some of them.
Though both lost their family at an early age, Bruce still has Alfred. Also, what they took away from that are two different things. The world (Galaxy) is a cold and hard place, and while Fett survives by being colder and harsher, Batman says “No, it shouldn’t be this way. I will dedicate my life to pushing the cold and dark back so that others need not suffer as I have.”
Bruce also eventually finds a new family in Barbara, Damian, Dick, and Tim.
Batman is noble.
Boba Fett is a scoundrel.
Batman defends the innocent.
Boba Fett will use anyone and anything to his advantage.
Batman cares.
I won Heroclix tonight. This is whats called a God-Pack. All 5 chase figs from the set in one booster.
Last night I came in second at my Heroclix event. Went 2-1 even though I beat the guy who went 3-0 in total points by almost 300. Also I would have beat him if the match had gone on for another 5 minutes. I was playing hot.
Anyway, I wont the Batgirl in the left and we had extra prized up so I chose the Marquee figure from the Batman set, since I didnt buy any bricks. The Damaian Wayne Batman sculpt is badass. Im thinking about putting some black ink on it to bring out the details.
