girlythings13:

It’s not the fact that it will cost us money but the fact that we are being forced into a socialist welfare system that has never worked no matter how many times it is tried.

By “how many times it is tried” you mean the majority of the other first world nations on the planet?

Our police, fire, roads, parks, and public schools are all socialist. (Public schools arent always a shining point, but it depends on where you go…) Why do peoples’ health and lives be made into a for-profit system? Especially when THAT doesnt work. In the last decade whenever I did have insurance and I had to go to the ER for whatever, my insurance didnt cover any of it. My current employer texhnically offers insurance, but even if it were any good (which its not) I still couldnt afford it.

If you say “go out and get a better job” well what about the person who steps into my job? SOMEONE has to fill my shoes. Are they less worthy of life and living and care because of their role in society??

Politicians and senators and the like all have “socialist” government health care and its the best in the country. Meanwhile the proletariat scrapes by on the minimum and has to choose often between health and money.

Does that seem right to you?
