How are the d+d board games? I’ve always been curious, but they’re so expensive.

They are really good! I dont own the Drizzt one because the characters in that one are way more powerful than the first two games and so not really compatible. But you can play characters from any of the games together, mix in enemies and such. Very modular, very customizable.

I even made a scenario for the game based around a Pumpkin Golem figure I have.

It’s cooperative, which is good. You all play to beat the game itself. has a lot of custom stuff on it to mod the game as you like. New characters, enemies, and Villains.

Its a simplified version of D&D, and a fun Dungeon Crawl. Traps, monsters, treasure.

And yeah, its expensive, but no more than almost any game from Fantasy Flight or anything else. Most bigger board games are $50+ to begin with. And then there are expansions….
